Meet the Andersons.....
Darryl and Anna-lynn Anderson are partners in Final Solution Shorthorns. In addition to their cattle business, they are the owners of Team Pride Extrusions, Inc. They established Team Pride Extrusions in 1995, building on Darryl's experience in the field of alumninum extrusion since 1974.

Team Pride Extrusions, Inc. is an global integrated manufacturing service of close tolerance aluminum extrusion profiles. Their business has manufactued aluminum extrusions for products including trains, planes, computers, solar panels, buses, automotive, and more. The business also includes services of C.N.C. machining, precision cutting, welding, punching and powder coating.

Their daughter, Christina, graduated Texas A & M University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in Spanish. She continued her education at Texas A&M and earned a masters in human resource management. She is currently employed with Shell Oil Products in California as a human resource consultant.

Their son, Darryl Wayne Anderson II, developed an idea using his father's aluminum extrusion company to build a business in agricultural equipment. As a former FFA member, Darryl saw a need for alumninum hog panels because they were lighter, and easier for youngsters to use. Modifying this product through the years has produced a durable product that has been manufactured for and sold by Sullivan Supply, Hamm's Show Supply and Elite. Darryl W. Anderson II attended Vernon Regional College graduating in computer drafting. He is currently employed with Team Pride Extrusions, Inc. as a draftsman and quality control management.

Recently, Darryl Anderson Sr. has diversified their agricultural product line, and currently makes trim chutes, Iamb stands, stall dividers, fan cages, and hog panels. The Anderson's plan to expand this line based on their experience in the livestock business. As a successful businessman, Darryl built his company from a staff of three employees (including himself) into a firm that now employs 75 team members.

Meet the Fosters.....
Jim Foster has been blessed with a lifelong exposure to livestock.  As a young man, his father introduced Jim to performance horses. This has now been cultivated into a passion for cattle. In their first year of marriage, Jim and Jill set a goal of ranch living for themselves and their future family.  Jill asked Jim if he would buy her a Texas Longhorn cow after they found the right piece of property.  About five years later, the Fosters bought a new homestead.  Jim surprised Jill and their toddler daughter, Montana, with a Texas Longhorn heifer.  Cattle fever ensued.

The Foster family began traveling across the country purchasing well-bred registered Texas Longhorns.  Before long, they had acquired a herd of over 200 head of high-end, loud colored, extreme horned cattle.  The Fosters have been buying, raising and selling these historic cattle for the past 12 years.  They still currently run a modest herd and are active members of the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association.

Interest in the show ring started with Jim’s son Dustin.  Since Longhorns were virtually unheard of as FFA projects and had very little to offer in the way of weekend showing, the extremely appealing Shorthorn became the focus.Their first flirt with Shorthorns was a heifer bought from a local breeder primarily interested in selling steers.  She was a great FFA project winning in many show rings, and with this powerful animal it all began.  Next, Dustin showed her solid white daughter with increased success.  1st in class, grand champion and division champion became familiar to Dustin and his heifers.Montana then started showing the next generation from the same original cow.  1st in class, grand champion and division champion also found Montana and the solid white heifer “Snowflake” as they remained undefeated in class for two straight years.

With gentle disposition always priority for young Montana’s safety, our Shorthorn cattle always exceeded expectations.  Soon Jim found himself face to face with families wanting to buy cattle from this lineage.  At the time the Foster’s were simply raising show prospects for their own children.  With not enough calves to supply the demand, Jim started utilizing recipient cows loaded with eggs from these proven show cattle.  Our donor program began.

Throughout this cattle venture Jim and Jill worked in the western apparel industry.  Jim worked first as a boot company sales rep then as Resistol Hat sales rep for Texas.  Jill worked several years for Cowboys & Indians Magazine.  In 2002, Jim learned that a struggling livestock show supply company was for sale.  By 2003, Jim bought Hamm’s Show Supply and began turning the business around.  During this period of growth, Jim started designing lamb stands, cattle trim chutes and stall setups with Darryl Anderson of Team Pride for use in the show industry.  A business and personal relationship started.  Jim eventually sold Hamm’s Show Supply several years later but the friendship with Darryl continued to develop.

Jim and Darryl decided to combine their mutual interest in cattle by jumping into the Shorthorn breed with a splash.  With the purchase of the highly sought after bull SULL GNCC Final Solution their relationship has evolved into the partnership of
Final Solution Shorthorns.

Easy to operate head gate with one hand. The side bars are spring loaded and circular for added comfort of the animal. Handles on the back make moving this chute easy.

The Aluminum Hybrid Chutes have the same design as the Aluminum Chute but with a Steel Base to offer more Durability.
